use the book of the following authors
direct tax - t.n.manoharan
Indirect tax-n.s.govindan
cost accounting- varsh*t&saxena...
for theories use the institute books...
please buy all the suggested answers for the past 5 yrs.. it will help u a lot in clearing the exams...
i dont know about the stage 2 i will let u all know later..

You better use Only study material of icwai Inste. because for theoritcale subjets no other books are goods
