02 July 2013I am also trying last few days to solve this error but failed, last year on my same computer it was working properly.
I think CA association should try to resolve this with CBDT or Income tax dept authorities. It is working on some Laptops

no need to format or anything else
you have xp or win7 either office2003 or
office2007 or whatever it is
just install "
msxml 6.0 service pack1 "
for all type of compile errors In ITR excel

(32bit Operating Systems) or (64bit OS but if you installed MS Office 32bit )
