WHAT is Central Excise Tariff Act 1944?
What is the relation between these two?? what is mentioned in these two Acts??

well my dear... CETA 1985 is currently valid central excise tarrif act...which provide duty rates and deal with all commodities etc.
there isnt any tarrif act 1944... its . central excise act 1944...before 1985 there was only one act which was dealing with all excise matter..in 1985 tarrif act made separate....
