There is no need to discontinue course becose of Joining CA.
First you have eligible for direct entry scheme i.e. 55% or above in final year of B.com.
Next, Fillup Form 112 of ICAI Permission of other course.
Requirements of Form 112 : -
(i) Article should join articleship before 11 AM and minimum 6 hours per day and 35 hours per week working at office.
(ii) so, if your other all courses Institute certify that condition and do stempt and signature of principal in form 112 then ICAI never bend to join Profeesion.
(iii) Do remember your time of Articleship never Clash with your any other course. ( In official written )

Ya you can... not to warry.. Submit your form with your Registration of IPCC along with Registration of Articleship i.e. form 102 and 103.
As you are new student so condition of submit within 1 month shall not be liable to you.. Even declaration of other course to Institute is required after joining Articleship.. As you are Enter throw direct entry so not to warry..
See Purpose of form 112 is to maintain effectivity of Article ship training that students must attain regularly. So do remember don't clash any timing of other course with Articleship timinng otherwise Institute raise Query or may extend your Articleship Period.. so be careful.
