sir i am a ca final student and have my attempt in nov 16 i havent taken classes for direct tax can anyone please tell whether i should go for class or do self study and for self study which books to be referred

If you can plan your studies properly then you can go for self preparation and be able to score good marks in direct tax law paper.
For self-study you can prepare from Vinod Gupta's modules.
I haven't started yet and will get only 4.5 months leave please recommend
