This is CA Rajiv D Khatlawala from Baroda.
You will all be pleased to know that I have written a Book on Technical Analysis for novices - The book titled "How to profit from Technical Analysis - a Beginner's guide" is published through Vision Books and is available all over INDIA.
This is one of the FIRST book on the subject by an Indian Author and giving Indian Charts to explain the concepts tools and techniques of the science.

Dear Ms Shilpa .... The book is a beginner's guide to the science of technical analysis - the science of analysing price charts. It starts with a basic concepts in the intial chapters covering topics like - Trend, Trend identification, Support / resistance /- lines, Moving averages, Fibonacci retracement and three 'basic' indicators. All these are explained with help of real charts of Indian stocks. After that there are TWO full chapters which show how any one can apply the basic knowledge to analyse any security. There is also an introduction to use of this science by Long term INVESTORS. The price of the book is Rs 190/- and is available at leading book stores allover the country ... Dear Mr Alok, I myself conduct courses on technical analysis - Basic and advanced courses. These are conducted at Baroda (Guj) and it's vicinity. Just Keep in mind the practical applicability of the science of technical analysis - which is what any course / workshop should tackle.
