Please somebody help out !!!!!!!

I completed articleship on 18/08/2009 but could not submit Form 108 till now. What should I enter in Exam Form - Category-Form A Pt. 8

1) Completed 3 yrs of articleship- For that Completion letter issued by ICAI has to be attached along with Form. But I cannot submit it. Branch office has suggested to attach the xerox copy of Form 108 that I m gonna submit. But I m worried if that would create any problem later ...donot want to take the risk before the exams.

2) To be completed before 31/10/2009.

Please reply it's urgent.

It will not create any problems sir.If the branch office gives u any suggestions follow it or if not satisfied, u can send a query through e-mail to any person in Board of Studies, your problems will be solved. Dont worry, All the best for your preprations.Good Luck

dear friend,

my case is similiar to ur case. Insti replied that if as on the date of filing application form if u have filed 108, then note down as a/t completed, else gofor option in the training and will comp with in 6 months.

i filed ma 108, we are required to send a copy of 108 along with form else they cannot verify for our articles status as articles reg is carried by decentralised offices. examination dept. are not concerned with them except CA certifies for tenure of a/t period.

mine also similar case,

what i did is i selected the second option ie articles will be completing on or before 31st oct and

i took my principals signture on the form by back dated ie 17/08/2009, so one day is still left on articles, so that we can go for that option.

i already took the dd on the 17th itself, even if u take dd after the date of signing, it wont be a big problem, institute will know this type of situations and they wont object ..., will issue the hall ticket. what they need is money...(collecting donations in the name of exams)

thats all if u pay through dd thats enough.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I got it confirmed with the branch office one again.

They would stamp the original Form 108. Xerox of which has to be submitted along with exam Form. No need to submit letter or other document along with it.
