Articleship related query

As my articleship completed on 13.1.2016, due to which my final attempt due in Nov. 15 and i appeared in those exams. But i had already taken excess leaves due to which my articleship may extend for 4 months approx. and then my articlship completion date become 31st may approx. So my question is that can i gave exam in May 16 as a provisional attempt if i got failed in my nov. 15 exams?
