After 5 th attempt?

if you can do study with job then go for job. 

otherwise search part time job and focus on studies.

I think u should pursue your final you have reached to the last stage Dont loose hope u r just few steps away from CA If u pursue a job at this time u will not be able to concentrate on your studies.In my opinion you should prepare for you finals whole heartedly

Thank you everyone! But will the gap of nearly a year or more( considering I have to appear again) be a problem later in my career?

I am also not too keen for job right now! I am only worried about the gap after my articleship! (B"CUZ I HAD TO SHIFT MY BASE)

if u r not interested in job right now ... then start the peparation , just forget the world for 2months ... u will be a CA ... all the best

attempts wont be a matter if we have subject and confidence in us ...

My Dear Friend,

You should go for job,if you are not able to clear the exam in 4 attempts.

First, It will give you the exposure of a company. Right now, You have the exposure of audit only.

Second, It will be counted in your experience. It will give you an edge over others.

Third, It will help you to study because there are many provisions which you will practically apply.

Fourth,  you have already studied everything. Now you need only revision which you can manage with job.

Fifth, it will give you monetary help.

My seniors are in same situation as you are. They searched for jobs for alomost 5 months but unfortunately

unable to get job. I think lots of big organisations fixed age limit for freshers and if you finish CA after

specified age, they will not recruit you. Since you got good job offers, you can continue job and studies

simultaniously. Once you complete your CA, you become EXPERIENCED Chartered Accountant and jobs

oppourtunities are very good.

What is generally the upper age limit for getting into a company as a Ca?

And if i take more attempts while studying with job and then pass out! Will still I'll be considered a qualified CA?

Upper age is 25 years (From my experience) and attempts matter only for the first job.

Once you got job, no one is going to see how many attempts you took rather they are more concerned

with  your ability to work. Since you got job now, you can carry on job and studies simultaniously.

Once you become CA, they will not call you fresher.  From companies point of view, you are chartered

Accountant with so and so years of experience. Job oppourtunities for Experienced CA's are unlimited

unlike job oppourtunities for Freshers.
