Wrong itr filed

27 September 2014 I have got a client who has salary income and is partner in 2 partnership firm. Logically, ITR 3 shall be filed but his accountant has filed ITR 1 showing only salary Income. The partnership firm is liable to Tax Audit and due date for return filing shall be 30th September, 2014.

Can i file ITR 3 now??
Please guide.
