What does a CA(MIT) mean by asking this:Service or practise?

This query is : Resolved

02 March 2008 What is the meaning of both of this?

b) Is the articleship training of both of them vary?

c)What are the future scope of that?

d) What does the CA actually mean? Please answer in detail???

04 March 2008 CA in practice can take articles. MIT means CA in service and you get Industrial Training in the last year of your articleship under him. That is under the Company. Scope under IT is good in the last year.
The difference is that 32 months is under CA in practice or even 42 months. But MIT can be only lat 12 months.

06 March 2008 Thakore sir, i didn't understand the last two sentences. Please clarify.

Will the total period for articleship be different for those?

A CA told me that if i intended to do "Service", i should focus more in Auditing and Taxation.

09 March 2008 Is it compulsory to undergo Industrial training in the last year?

Do we have search for another CA during such training or the current CA shall impart such training?

10 March 2008 IT is not compulsory. Total of articleship under both = 42 months. It does not change.
IT cannot be imparted in CA Firm. It has to be industry.

11 March 2008 Does that mean IT has to been taken
A)under those 42 months?
B) we have to search different CA firm??

Who from industry shall give training?

16 March 2008 30 months including leave in CA Firm + 12 months IT
