25 September 2012 when can a house be considered as sold from the below options under the IT Act in order to take the take the benefits.
A. Date on which advance (25%) Paid.( 2 Feb 2010)
B. Date of Stamp duty Paid.(7 May 2010)
C. Date of Agreement made( 8 June 2010)
D. Possession of the property (9 Sep 2010)
E. Full Payment made( 31 dec 2010). Please provide with some case study to prove your portion. Thankyou.


25 September 2012 The most appropriate date shall be the Date of Agreement ie., 8th June, 2010.

05 October 2012 HI,
What if that date of agreement (8th June)pushes me to below 3 years dead line which means i have to pay short term taxes.
Whats the remeady???/ How can i make my self comfortable.. Can Point a or b work in my favour??????/
