Trainee without Pay

This query is : Resolved

16 December 2008 One of my relative have been offered a job in the Company for a period of 6 months as a "Trainee". During this period, he will work for the Company on their differrent projects, but, neither he will be paid for it nor he will pay anything to the Company for seeking training.

How Company will treat in their record ? An employee/trainee/consultant ? Without mking any payment or receiving any amount, how HR will issue necessary letters before and after the training gets over ?

16 December 2008 It is not necessary that trainees should be paid a compensation. HR may issue a Certifcate for undergoing a training with the organisation at the successful completion of training.
