Can you please tell me whether TDS to be deducted on service tax for professional charges and contract charges.

Because TDS is to be deducted on the amount credited or paid to the party. the amount credited or paid to the party is inclusive of service tax. So TDS is to be deducted on the service tax.

Yes, service tax to be added on all the item, except rent payment.
