Bill raised by the proprietorship firm name.
TDS is applicable 1% or 2%

Bill raised by the Individual Name
TDS is applicable 1%

How to be distinguished for 1% applicability.

Is proprietorship firm also to be considered under 1% tds

15 July 2014 Yes Proprietorship Firm also fall in 1% TDS Bracket. Individual and Proprietorship Firm are same.

Rates u/s 194C is--

Individual/HUF @1%
Others @2%
If No PAN given 20%.
