If we are going to purchase a property from government organisations such as Meerut development authority/ Awas Vikas. Wheather we are liable to deduct TDS or not?
You do not required to Deduct the TDS as any payment made to specified person are exempted from TDS and government is one of the such specified person.
In short, you do not need to deduct any TDS if you are making payment to any government authority.
