I have an office space on rent.The several person are claiming to be the owner, we approach to court to decide the actual owner. The court ordered that till the actual owner decided, the rent will be paid to the custodian appointed by the court.Now my question is that how we deducted the TDS on rent paid to custodian , if we deducted than by whose name the TDS is deposited. Please help on this issue

In such case you can seek the exemption from relevant ward as it is a case of uncertainty and you are also not paying rent to the owner so no need to deduct tds
