TDS on remittance to Germany

This query is : Resolved

15 November 2010 One Indian company is purchasing a machinery from a German Company for Euro 83,000/-( already Paid in advance). Now German Company is asking Indian Company to remit Euro 2,100/- towards Freight and Insurance.
My question is
1.Whether TDS is deductable for above remittance? If yes, what is the rate of TDS?
2.Is there any DTA (Double Taxation Avoidance) agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany for above Transaction?
3.What is the procedure for filing Form 15CB and 15CA to the Income Tax Department?

15 November 2010 No TDS is required to be deducted from this payment if it is supported back to back by the bill of the fright and insuarance biils. yes there is a DTA between India and Germany and the proceedure to file the 15CB and 15CA is to go to IT website and fill the full details and submit. take a printout also for your records.

15 November 2010 Agree with the expert and for procedure to file 15CA and 15CB
