My Query relating to TDS on professional receipts,
"if any lawyer can deduct TDS of his assistant if they received amount from Lawyer,assistant treated this income as professional receipts and in given case assistant professional receipt exceed Rs.30,000 during the year"

whether lawyer is liable for deduct tax of his assistant

please clerify the provision relating to this,also clerify the who is liable to deduct tax in professional and technical serivices

27 September 2011 The Professional liable to Tax Audit under section 44AB is responsible to TDS provisions. Section 194J is applicable for professional fees, etc. related deductions.
