We are a Private Limited company. We have deducted TDS on salary for Directors for April to June 2014 and deposited the amount and filed the return. We did not deducted the TDS on salary for July to September 2014 due to non calculation. We filed nil return. We deducted TDS on salary for Directors for October to December 2014 after doing all calculations(increase in salary) and deposited the amount and filed the return. Is there any penalty involved in non deduction of TDS for July to September 2014? My point is when we have not deducted TDS we have not deposited and when we have deducted we have deposited the amount to Government.
