As per the latest circular, Form No 17 has to be used for payment of taxes pertaining to FY '09-10.
Is this form to be used only when paying online taxes which again calls for online banking facility?
what is the proceedure if online banking facility is not used by the company instead instruction to the bank is given for payment of taxes thru the account?

Complete details are not yet available, so far as Form No. 17 is concerned, since the form itself is not available.
Many a bank were remitting taxes electronically on behalf of the customers, who may not have internet banking facility. The system, may not work in the new dispensation, as details of deductee are also required to be provided in the Challn itself.
