Hi, We have purchased Software with support,our vendor chagred service tax and VAT, Please let us know can we deduct TDS, if yes under which section.

When service tax has been charged, then in my opinion TDS has to be deducted but it has to be seen that service tax has been charged on which part of the bill. TDS has to be deducted on that amount for which service tax has been charged.
