My client had forgot to claim TDS for the AY: 2009-10. Now he wants to claim for the same in the current FY i.e. AY:2011-12.
Revised Return for the AY:2009-10 cannot be filed as time for filing the same is lapsed.
Is there any other option of claiming TDS of AY:2009-10 ?

Try section 154 route

If the case of the said client is under scrutiny then you can claim in assessment. If the income is not offered for tax in A.Y. 2009-10 then you should offer the income in current year and also claim the TDS in current year.
