IF WE GIVE LOAN TO OTHERS ( THIRD PARTY CAN WE DEDUCT TDS? COMES UNDER WHICH SECTION AND HOW MUCH THRESH HOLD LIMIT.

09 August 2011 Only those specified payments under the TDS provisions which are income in hands of payee are subject to TDS.
Giving or accepting loan is not subject to TDS. Only interest on loan amount is subject to TDS. U will be entitled to receive interest, hence in any case U cannot make any deduction of tax.
