I am working for a company trading in electricity. My company is purchasing electricity from a company, say A, & paying the amount billed. This com A is paying trasmission charges to another co B transmission chrgs is liable to TDS. In the sale bill, the co A charges our company's share of transmission charges along with all the proofs of payment which we reimburse. Now my query is whose liability is it to deduct TDS on transmission charges.
If it is my co's liability, then how do we issue TDS cretificate to Co B, as they do not raise a bill on us directly.

i beleive, in case of reimbursement to A, you are liable to deduct the TDS of A for your portion, as B is not directly engaged with you vide any contract.
