if there is payment made to any contract is 55000 then on which amount we have to deduct TDS. on whole amount or only on excess 5000 RS.

TDS will be deducted on 55000/- if there is many bills and payments which make total of 55000/- in that case also TDS should be deducted on full amount at the time when total crosses 50000/-
