29 January 2015 Dear all.
I am giving 600000 PA salary to one of my employee.

also giving some allowance.is below mention

conveyance 3000/- PM
mobile allowance 1500/- PM
Medical allowance 2000/- PM

for medical allowance employee has not given any bill of medical yet. but am constantly paying him 2000/-

now my question is.. how to Deduct tds
is there any deduction for mobile & medical allowance.

plz. calculate the above for deduction of tds...

29 January 2015 Hi

If you dont get bills then full amount to be taxed,

if you get bills then Max you can exempt amount as specified by IT.

For medical it is Rs. 15000 p.a., conveyance actual mount spent & no max. limit by IT, & same with cell phone exp.

Thanks!!

29 January 2015 Dear vaibhav

800 pm for conveyance is deductible for conveyance as per i.t
but employee did not provide any bill against medical so medical allowance would be fully taxable.

but am confused about cell phone allowance
whether it is deductable or not if yes how mouch. or it is fully taxable.

plz. explain it in details..

29 January 2015 its is not deductible its fully taxable.
