TO CLARIFY MY DOUBT PLEASE READ THIS CASE A COMPANY(HOTEL INDUSTRY) PAYING AMOUNT TO BUS TRAVELS FOR DROPPING THE CUSTOMERS FROM THEIR HOTEL AND PAYING AMOUNT AS PER THE NUMBER OF TRIPS,EVERY MONTH AVERAGELY PAYING 90000 TO BUS TRAVELS NOW THEY ARE NOT DEDUCTING TDS AND SAYING TRANSPORT DOESN'T ATTRACTS TDS.PLEASE CLARIFY ME WHETHER COMPANY ARGUMENT IS CORRECT.AM IN A DOUBT THAT ABOVE SITUATION IS COVERED UNDER TRANSPORT DEFINATION OR NOT AM THINKING TRANSPORT MEANS ONLY OF GOODS PLEASE CLARIFY. SUPPOSE COMPANY HIRING THE VEHICLE NOT IN FIXED TERM IF IT JUST HIRES WHEN IT REQUIRES NOW TDS ATTRACTED OR NOT?

Since you are paying amount which is fixed as per terms it is fall under sec 194C ,Now a days most of the institute Or Business entities hiring vehicle to drop & receive persons.
