22 July 2014 I purchase goods from Mr.A of Rs.60,000.
While on the date of payment. Mr.A said pay Rs. 6000 as commission to Mr.C on his behalf.
Whether the TDS should be deducted or not.??
As Commission is not my Expense. I m Paying Commission on behalf of Mr.A... Please Solve this Query..

23 July 2014 You can consider your purchase amount 60000+6000=66000 if you directly paid to other party.

If you paid as a commission from your side, then you need to deduct TDS @ 10% under 194H as it is exceeds Rs.5000.
