My dad is employee of Public sector undertaking bank (PSU) staff. He receives reimbursement of medical expenses (after his kidney transplant) on submition of original medical bills to bank.Whether it is taxable or exempted under which section. Pls inform.

Thanks but it's not reimbursement of medical claim policy its actual expenses incurred and than reimbursed the amount was between 1 lac to 1.5 lac.
