GOVERNMENT IS AQUIRIENG MY AGRECULTURE LAND AT MY VILLAGE. THE GOV. AUTHORITIES SAYS TAX IS DEDUCTED AND NET AMOUNT WILL BE PAYABLE TO THE FARMER. MY QUESTION, IS GOV.RIGHTLY DEDUCTE TDS, ON AGRECULTURE LAND TDS IS APPLICABLE OR NOT ???

TDS U/s 194LA is not applicable in case of Agriculture land.
