Take the back up of company data from Tally 7.2.
Check whether same company numbers exists in tally 9. If exisists then change the number of the company of tally 7.2 data.
Paste the same under date of tally 9.
Open the company in tall 9 it will ask shall i migrate. Give yes and the data will be migrated to tally 9.
Before migrating check for number of vouchers in tally 7 and after migration check the number of vouchers in tally 9. If both are same then migration is sucessufl.

sir, i have tried to migrate data through tally migration tool tally7.2 but after master migration during voucher migration it is showing internal memory access violation dialog box. second thing is that you have suggested that no.of co. should be different in tally 7.2 and tally 9.0 ?why?
