12 July 2012 SIRS,

While filling TDS return is it necessary to show all the payments made or only those payments were TDS is made. ex. say, suppose commission paid during the qurter is Rs. 9800 and no TDS made and 10500 and TDS made then while filling TDS return both the amounts are to be shown.

12 July 2012 Tds return is only made where tax deducted and deposited and such information is become relevant from the point of view of deductee since he can claim and received TDS amount when deductor file TDS return properly. Hence where no TDS has been deducted due to statutory provision there is also no need to file TDS statement.
