Study strategy for final ca - law and audit

This query is : Resolved

11 May 2016 Please, can any expert at this forum guide me abt how to prepare for law at finals..i have already cleared group 2 and have got exemption in sfm in first group. Just because of the vast nature of the subject of law and audit m fearing to appear for next exam. Please help.

11 May 2016 Remove the term fear from your mind and think positive with a well balanced study plan approach. As you have exemption in SFM and left with three papers to go, do not get too complacent or get too edgy. The final battle is not won until you are declared successful in the examination, so keep your energy levels high and be focused on your studies.

The paper on company law in May 2016 should be an indicator for you to know as to what kind of questions can be asked in the examination. According to the reactions which students have shared so far, it appeared that the examiner was not just testing the knowledge of a candidate based on provisions of various laws but on the comprehension ability of a candidate. Thus, study all the topics thoroughly and never indulge in selective studies in CA or any professional examination, as you can expect the unexpected.

Please have a workable plan for the time which you have in hand for your examination. Give equal importance to all three papers and ensure you have a balanced approach. A thorough understanding of the provision along with conceptually clarity in a paper like Financial Reporting is also important.

Have your own hand written notes and keep refining it based on revision. As far as possible make it a habit to appear in Mock test conducted by ICAI or any private body and also if possible to attempt questions in examination condition at your own place.

Thus, keep your self motivated and believe in your strengths and work on your weaknesses and you will surely succeed. All the very best.

11 May 2016 Thanks for reply sir
