12 April 2011 If I provide software consulting as an individual consultant, will it attract service tax?

12 April 2011 Yes you would be liable. However you are eligible for the small service provider exemption of 10 lakhs provided your totalk value of services in the pr yr did not wexceed rs.10 lakhs.
