Our company is paying an amount of rs. 300 on behalf of service receiver on account of Document Handing Charges for which we are required to raise a Debit Note as for reimbursement of the expenses.
Kindly suggest whether we are required to charge Service Tax on the same???

When the service is already suffered service tax, for the reimbursement of the said service expenses, there is no need for service tax.

Service tax is being charged on overall services provided. This reimbursement is on account of paying Filing fees to the government on behalf of Service receiver.
