Kindly let me know whether the Service Tax is applicable for construction of a temple
building run/management by a trust.

In my view as long as the building is not for commercial purposes there is no liability. In this case the objective of the trust would also play a role though it can be argued that the same is not decisive.
However if there was a kalyan mandap which is also built separately then there could be a liability if the same wouldbe l;et out for functions/ marraiges.
