When to pay the service tax after raising invoice or after receiving chq. from party?

After collecting the payment.
Please note if you billed Rs.11,030/- where your service billed as 10,000/- and S.Tax.@10.30% is Rs.1,030/- if you receive payment of 10,700/= as full and final settlement you can pay S.tax by making back calculation and your S.Tax payable amount will be 999/= instead of 1,030/=.
