Dear Experts, Commission paid to Foreign company which is situated abroad, service tax remittance is the liability of the service receiver as per rule 66(a). My question is whatever the service tax paid by the receiver to the government, can he take the credit of such tax and utilize towards other payments.

Yes , this is very much an Input Service and credit of the tax paid on it can be taken , only after paying the liability in cash to government.
