Sir here I have two questions.

One of friend is running BPO - the services are provided for outbound USA Customers.

The payment for the same is received in Indian Rupees from one of media person from Gujraj.

1. Whether these services will be applicable for service tax?

2. The payment of the said transaction is coming in cash ? The name of Media person is not known - it is secret. He is depositing cash at Gujrat immediately on the next day as per the services are provided.

Please help me.

27 May 2014 Seems fishy.. Since consideration is received in India from an unknown individual it would be better if the service tax is paid.

02 June 2014 Dear Sir,

No doubt, this is fishy transaction. The mechanism of system is the list of customer for outbond calls are provided by one of the dealer / agent sitting at Gujrat. The call is undertaken by third party and immediately after the call is over, the account of third Party is credited by RTGS (small amounts) for big amounts i.e. above Rs.25,000 are credited by way of cash by next day.

I was also surprised.

Payees name no where on record.
