Doctors are exempt from payment of service tax vide notification no. 25/2012-st dated 20-6-2012 provided Doctor shall be registered with any of the councils of recognized system of medicine established or recognized by law in india. which includes a medical professional having the requisite qualification to practice in any recognized system of medicine in india.
