07 May 2012 This section says that Full Value of consideration will be the value adopted by the registrar if the actual consideration is less than the said value.

Once we have paid capital gain on this value, then what will be the cost of acquisition for the purchaser?

1. The actual consideration?
2. Valuation for stamp duty?

07 May 2012 For the purchaser, the cost of acquisition shall be the actual consideration only. Stamp Duty valuation is just a notional value for the purpose of tax computation.
