One of my client is enjoying exemption U/s. 80IB (10) for Building & Development of Housing Projects. He has fulfilled all the condition prescribed under section.
My query is - Is it mandatory to get revised plan from the appropriate authority, when the developer constructed the building slightly different way then the original plan approved by the authority? If suppose the developer does not get revised plan from the authority, the exemption U/s. 80IB(10) can be withdrawn?

If the revised plan violates the conditions of 80IB (10), then you will not be eligible, whether or not subsequently it has been approved or not. like....area of residential unit exceeds 1000 sq. feet in case of delhi & Mumbai...
If the modifications doesnot violates the conditions, then you will be eligible..... For preventing any future litigation it is advisable to approve the modified plan immediately
