Dear Yes the deduction is available for full amount of 75000/- But to claim deduction you need to incur some expenditure. It may be any amount . As section 80dd says this.

As per section expenses has to be incurred to claim the deduction, but irrespective of the expenses amount, the deduction is fully allowed. so your CA is correct only

The assessee, claiming a deduction under this section, shall furnish a copy of the certificate issued by the medical authority in the prescribed form (Form No 10-IA )and manner along with the return of income under section 139, in respect of the assessment year for which the deduction is claimed. dear ankur, right now client have only routine private doctor's checkup consultancy bill around 3000 and said medicine 2000. than also 75000 disc available?

Dear sir, it is a flat deduction. Even if actual expense is less than the amount mentioned in they section , assessee is eligible for full deduction.

is it mandatory to provide bill of expense? or self declaration of client is satiafacory without any bill? 40% disability certificate provided by client only.

There is no need to preserve actual receipts or bills. Self declaration is enough to claim. If there is any premium paid with regard to this , receipts are needed. incurredCertificate should be obtained from Proper Medical Authority as defined. As it is a
