24 October 2011 if there is issue of debit note rather than invoice for technical service and the service is provided by another concerns and not by that who is issued debit note

24 October 2011 Yes, it has to be deducted.

24 October 2011 Please come with example.

As of now, Sec. 194 J attracts since issuance of Debit Note means income for one party and susequently expenses for another,--- this case clearly falls within purview of Scetion 194J.

31 October 2011 In this 2 concepts are there, if the debit note raised for the reimbursement of expenses then no need to deduct TDS

but your query is telling debit note raised for professional charges, so whether invoice or debit note given for professional charges TDS will apply in both cases

01 November 2011 The answer given by expert is divided in to two aspects please understand to me about first concept
EXAMPLE
service is given by mohan

debit note is raised by sohan
then this is the case of reimbursement or payment for service .then tds is required or not?
