07 September 2012 hi Expertz,

we are in the process of implementing asset module. Can anyone suggest what are the areas/requirements to be discussed with SAP vendors.
Can you let me know ASAP.

07 September 2012 Identify the areas to be covered based on your existing FA policy.
The scope of this Q is vast.
Am not sure about the business of your company.Cover the authority matrix, provisions of IT tax as applicable, make sure you identify the releavnt GLs.
The list could be endless.

Consider hiring an "Technical & functional consultant" - a person who understands both technical & hard core finance tax. (just a suggestion). There are lots of areas to be considered and each transaction must be thoroughly tested in all aspects.

I've hands on experience in erp implementation. Have handled this module with several clients.

For implementation of FA mod, or any mod in a SAP or ERP environ one should have sound understanding of the company's business - only then it's fair & square. May I know your business? I'd be able to help you out much better.
