Sales tax assessment means the assessment for any financial year by the Sales Tax Officer. The following details may have to be produced/submitted. 1) Monthwise Summary of Purchase & Sales 2) Summary of Sales tax collected and set-off claimed. 3) Details of Addition to Fixed Assets 4) Details of any Expenditure where sales tax is applicable like printing & stationery, computer peripherals, etc. 5) Books of accounts/invoices may also have to be produced if required by the officer.
Based of the assessments made, the sales tax officer will give the assessment order along with some demand notices, if there is any short payment in sales tax.
do i need to application for sale tax assessment or altimately it is done by A O ?
In sale tax we submitt quarterly return , besides of anual return we will have to submit annual return? if yes pls tell me which for to be filled?
Our Manufacturing unit is in Bhiwadi we want to know how much sale limit to register in excie. and registration limit of service tax on service charges.
Sir I relise by nsdl challan status on nsdl site about I filled up written TAN on challan which do not belong to any one, what to do ? can we submit tds return by filling up correct tan? will it rectify automatically?
