Please guide me on this point. The services of renting of immovable property which was earlier under dispute, now the decision from court is to pay the whole service tax with interest.
Now what is consequential treatment? According to me, we need to revise the returns which we had filed earlier as NIL.But Service tax is received by the assessee in current qtr.

Dear Anjali If you have filed Nil return it means you have not collected Service tax on Renting of immovable Property as per Delhi high court judgement. If you have received service tax in this financial year then you can show this amount in current year return. This is more complecated matter for every one. I would request you wait for some time, more notification and clarification will be declared by Department on this matter. Regards Pragnesh

start charging ST from Apr.2010 onwards and pay to govt. till you file the ST return some notification will come, further if you not charged/collected the tax a nil return has to be filed.
