Sir, For the first time I thought of filling my IT returns myself. But incidentally I made a big mistake. I have downloaded the excel utility while filing returns and had filled up and verified the same and uploaded it to the IT website without making the payment and had not entered the tax paid details like bsr code or challan no. Indeed I have generated acknowledgment showing tax payable and the tax paid column is nil. However after uploading I had made the payment through internet banking and have generated the challan. Now will this return be accepted by the IT dept. Kindly reply soon.
Dont bother if u have filed return within due date, then u can revise the return by showing payment of tax, else keep payment challan properly and show it to dept when you receive the notice from Dept.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions, but, I have filed the returns for AY 2011-12 only by this march. And I understand that I could not file a revised return as I have filed after due date. In this event what shall I do. Should I wait for the notice from IT department or should I contact my AO.
