Representative assessee

Dear sirs,
a nonresident gives power of attorney to his father to let out the property in the name of non resident and receives rent. nonresident wants to file return as representative assessee. but the tenant deduct tds on rent payment in the name of father . how to file return ? in the name of father or non resident . property in the name of nonresident


06 February 2013 For the purposes of this Act, "representative assessee" means—

(i) in respect of the income of a non-resident specified in 26[***] sub-section (1) of section 9, the agent of the non-resident, including a person who is treated as an agent under section 163 etc
The return is to be filed in the name of father as a representative assessee since he is treated as an agent

if father is senior citizen can he claim the exemption limit of senior citizen for filing return of income of his son as a representative assessee. pls advice me

1. Return should be filed in the name & PAN No of Non resident
2. In the verification column details of father should be given
3. In the column requiring details of representative assessee details of father should be given

How can we e-file the ITR of person by Representative Assessee (other than death), like person of unsound mind. When we try to upload the ITR, it shows mismatch of PAN in verification and personal details of assessee..
